#FAVORITE RECIPE # 15 minutes


  1. 14 oz. Extra Firm Tofu (drained)

  2. 3 tbsp olive oil


  3. 3 tbsp finely chopped green onion

  4. 1 c soy sauce

  5. 2 tbsp finely chopped cilantro

  6. 1/4 c lime juice

  7. 2 tbsp sesame oil

  8. 1 tbsp minced ginger

  9. 1/2 tsp salt


1.   prepare sauce

In a mixing bowl, mixing together all of the tofu sauce ingredients.

2.   Prep Tofu

Drain tofu and soak out the water by squeezing it with paper towels. Then cut the tofu into 1/3 inch thick rectangles.

3.   Cook tofu

Heat 3 tbsp of olive oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Once oil is shimmering hot, but not smoking, add your tofu slices. Leave a little space between each piece. Cook for a couple minutes on each side. The longer you caramelize the tofu, the crispier it will get. It should get a golden brown coating. Once both sides of your tofu is golden brown, your tofu is ready to be tossed with your sauce! Place your crispy tofu on a plate and add 2 tbsp of sauce. Enjoy!
